Portraits on commission 


I am  an experience portrait painter specialising primarily in children's portraiture. I think that a  good portrait should capture the personality and character of the person.

 I specialise in sanguine, sepia, charcoal or graphite  and sometimes in oil and acrylique. 


 I have been painting portraits since 2001, and I have received commissions for my paintings from Europe , Dubai and USA .

I prefer  to work from photographs of the client that I have taken myself, but I will also accept good quality photos from the client.

If the client supplies the photographs, they should submit two or three good quality images showing close-ups of their face. These could be sent to me as digital image by e-mail( aliciadominguez71@hotmail.es) or sent by traditional post ( Alicia Domínguez, Calle Retamar,35 28292 El Escorial, Madrid, Spain)

Prices start at 250 Euros for a portrait measuring 40cm by 50cm( a portrait of head and shoulders in graphite/charcoal/sanguine on paper)

Please note that the commission does not come framed, this is left to the discretion of the client.

Each commission will take approximately 3/4 weeks to complete although this time will vary depending upon the client's specifications and the artist's schedule. 

All shipping, framing, travel, and lodging fees are in addition to the prices listed above.
